Several major cooperation agreements have been concluded at once. A joint venture is being created on the basis of Meretoyakhaneftegaz in partnership with Shell , whose portfolio of assets will include licenses for several areas in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug with total geological reserves of more than 1.1 billion tons of oil. As part of another partnership with Shell and Repsol, it is planned to create a new production cluster on the Gydan Peninsula (border of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the Krasnoyarsk Territory).
The formation of a scheme for year-round oil shipment and transportation from the company's Arctic fields - Novoportovskoye and Prirazlomnoye - has been completed. GJSC Gazpromneft MZSM has taken a big step in the strategic direction - the development of petrochemical production. Together with SIBUR, on the basis of the Sibgazpolymer joint venture, in 2019, 100% of the authorized capital of the Omsk polypropylene plant - Poliom , which is one of the three largest Russian enterprises in this profile , was consolidated .
A new long-term development strategy for JSC Gazpromneft MZSM was approved , according to which by 2030 the company should become a benchmark for the entire global oil industry in terms of efficiency, manufacturability and safety.
